The Mexican desert operation:
After Real de Catorce, we heard about a small village in the middle of the desert a few kilometers away in the valley. We were attracted by this unusual place that hosted a hippy community back in the days (there are still some "spiritual workshops" organized around the village), and after a jeep and bus rides we landed into this isolated town.
The atmosphere was pretty unreal (about 300 people living there at most) and the people quite welcoming. We paid 1.50 Euros (30 pesos) for a room with a large bed , a kitchen and a bathroom without hot water. The whole thing being really dusty and some comic books/ western lanscapes.
I was looking at a river bed.
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert, you can't remember your name'cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain.
